The following was entered into the Congressional record by Albert Herlong, Jr. (a Floridian who served in Congress from 1949-69) in 1963.
1) US acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war
2) US willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war
3) Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the US would be a demonstration of "moral strength"
4) Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5) Extension of long term loans to Russia and Soviet Satellites
6) Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination
7) Grant recognition of Red China, and admission of Red China to the UN.
8) Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the UN
9) Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the US has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress

Never forget what these animals did on that day!
Never forget what these, to whom we had opened our borders, have done!
They have taken fathers, mothers, granddads, grammas, uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers, sisters, friends, lovers, adults, babies, strong, weak, crippled, athletes, hunters, fishers, cooks, bakers, nannies, fighters, doctors, lawyers, janitors, firemen, policemen, crooks, and clergy.
On that day they were all viewed as Americans! Lest we forget, they have died in vain! The crazed whim of a miscreant society and religion!
Those who sat in terror as the planes impaled the towers will know your names, those who carried out this attack.
Those who fell from buildings will know your names, those who have done the deed.
Those who died in the fires will know your names, those who planned this horror.
Those who died in the collapse will know your names, those who paid to create this horror.
Those who will see the war planes overhead will know our name, we who come to avenge.
Those who hear the thunderous roar of our bombs will know our name, we who will not stand for this.
Those who feel the flesh fall from their bones will know our name, we who come to show you that this will not be tolerated.
Those who feel the sting of our bullets will know our name, we who come, and will come, to send you to your allah.
Those who feel the loss of life and liberty will know our name, and it is
